company supports, through sponsorship, the Aerospace and Rocketry Team of the
Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (AUTh), known as “ASAT”, solidifying its
continuous contribution to shaping the scientific and technological landscape of
tomorrow and reinforcing its commitment to promoting scientific excellence.
The Aristotle Space & Aeronautics Team (ASAT) is the first student aerospace team
based in Thessaloniki, operating under the auspices of the Fluid Mechanics and
Turbomachinery Laboratory (LFMT) at Aristotle University of Thessaloniki since
2015.
ASAT consists of two technical departments: the Aeronautics Department, which
focuses on the design, construction, and flight of unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs),
and the Rocketry Department, which is involved in the design, construction, and
launch of high-power rockets.
Since its inception, the team has achieved significant distinctions and
accomplishments in international competitions, continuously evolving and
implementing innovative projects while participating in prestigious competitions such
as the “Air Cargo Challenge 2024”.
